Surface Finishes

IDS doors stay looking good. They are available with a natural finish or in a wide range of durable Plastisol colours. Alternatively, a first class paint finish can be applied, in a standard range of colours, or to your special colour on request.

Insulated Panels

Our industrial sectional door panels are light, strong and maintenance free. Sound insulation is superb, which makes them ideal for high-density traffic locations. Available in two thicknesses – 45mm and 80mm – they offer excellent heat insulation properties for all applications. Door panels are made in 500mm and 600mm sizes and are filled with polyurethane safety foam which self-extinguishes in the event of a fire.

Operation

Manual operation is effected by a pull chain, which can be located on either side of the doorway. With electrical motor drive the main control comprises of a push button box, mounted on the wall or a pedestal. Motors can be located on front walls, ceiling or the door track. Pull switches can also be installed at any convenient position.

Unique Seal System

Remote Control

Induction sensor loops are the most popular method of remote control, with photo-cell and radio as alternatives. There are also a number of systems available for activating the door from an approaching vehicle, and all systems can be used in combination.

Easy Operation

IDS doors glide in tracks expertly fitted to your prepared opening. Door movement is smooth and light, with finger tip control. Many doors are manually operated, with electric drive becoming an increasingly popular option, together with advanced remote control systems.

Glazed Panels

If windows are required, they can be included in one or more panels. There are two options of window shape – square or rounded corners – with acrylic double glazing to maintain effective insulation. They are also fitted with high security fixings to ensure peace of mind.
